Do we have course on how to write test case in react typscript

Can we include in course how to write testcase in react type script

Tagging our React teacher @bobziroll for reference and consideration. We’ve got some more content coming soon which might have test cases.

Hi @Niki!

Are you asking if we can include a section about unit/automated testing in the React course? If so, I don’t think we currently have plans to add testing curriculum to the React course, at least not in the immediate future.

That said, I do plan to add some additional sections to my TypeScript course on Scrimba with a section on using TypeScript in React. Since you mentioned TypeScript in your question, I thought that might be relevant to mention.

We are currently working on brand new back-end courses which is taking up most of our time right now, but as soon as my Next.js course launches in a few weeks, I plan to revisit my React course, add the Solo Projects that are supposed to be there, fix a few bugs in the course, and then possibly come back to the TypeScript course to work on adding those extra sections.

@bobziroll , any plan to release the remaining 2 parts of the Typescript courses? I am looking forward to it. Or is the react router 7 & remix course is at a higher priority?

I definitely will be coming back to the TS course to add additional sections. I’m currently sprinting to get the first section of the Next.js course completed before the launch on Monday (April 14th). Then I’ll probably be taking a day or two to add in the Solo Projects to the React course that I never got around to adding before starting Next.js. Then I’ll finish up the Next.js course with 2-3 more sections (which will likely take a couple of months). Then I think the plan is to come back to the TS course and finish up those sections.

So it’s definitely in the pipeline, but it may be a few months before I have the bandwidth to come back to it, unfortunately.

I am on the docket to teach the React Router 7 course, but Scrimba currently is missing a technical aspect for it to work on the platform. Once that’s fixed, it’ll probably jump to the top of the priority list.

I’m looking forward to the full TypeScript course. I’m currently in the advanced React module and will be finishing it soon. My plan is to take a short break, and focus on re-building the Vanlife app, along with some personal projects.

TypeScript is my next learning goal. If the full course isn’t available yet, I might start the Next.js course in the meantime, once I am more familiar with the react-router.
