Multiple characters appearing when typing

Hi.. Great course on backend in fullstack..

I suddenly got a problem when typing in the create a users table in authentication in “Build a fullstack express app”…

when I type one character.. forexample “t” it eats up the character infront of it and somehow doubles the amount of characters I typed.. like 2 or 3 “t” will appear if I type one “t”.. also insert doesnt work to turn it off..

It seems that it types the duplicate in reverse… like if I type “Alexander”, “Rednaxela” will appear next to it like “AlexanderrednaxelA”

also when I hit backspace, the next line of code moves upwards line by line even if its not supposed to.
