My scrimba is not working in all of my platforms

@roku I’ve tried on chrome and ark, none of them work after I login. I can see the videos if I’m logged out.

Hey, same here, login with Google Account, is there a workaround ?

Seems like it might be account specific so if people can try signing in with a seperate email using the email/passwordless sign in that have worked for some students.

For example if you signed in with email@gmail.com, you can sign in with an gmail alias like email+scrimba@gmail.com. Not guaranteed to work but a people have found this to be a workaround. If you have a premium subscription on the account that doesn’t work, but using another email works, you can give me a tag and message here and I can transfer your subscription to this new account while we fix things up.

Hi, i also cannot login to scrimba, when i try to login, it redirect me to google, github but then after i click into the link, it said scrimba.com is currently unable to handle this request. The same problem with email link. Is there any way to work around with this ? I really want to try study on scrimba

Hi @An_Phung, looking into this with the team now. Looks like it popped up in the last days or two. Hope to get a fix up soon.

I have the same problem, can’t register as a new user. Did get the email verification, but the link redirected to a HTTP 500 error page. Tried multiple times. Did manage to register for the forum.

I tried adding a new email but got stuck when trying to validate it. Got HTTP 500 error page and can only access via old email. Unable to get pass the “typerror”

I’m also getting the TypeError. logged in or not.

Regarding the 500 error, this should be fixed up now.

For the typerror is it still the ‘contains’ issue @viraloch @bwmartin ?

I am getting this error too intermittently where none of the pages work when I am logged in (Free account). Today it is working again.

I debugged the javascript a bit last night and put some breakpoints in when the crash was happening and the dom element it was updating during the crash was the Sale countdown at the bottom left of the menu.

It was crashing with the contains error when the countdown timer was running saying there is x hours left for the sale. Today there is no countdown timer and there is no crash.

I have a feeling the issue is related to the sale countdown timer in the sale widget on the bottom left hand side of the menu. For some reason there is no classList on the element.

If it crashes again I can look into it a bit further.

Hope that helps.

I’m having this same issue. I haven’t finished the access to the free lesson with one more scrim available but now cant open the AI engineering path course. It won’t load and shows the same error… Is there a workaround for this or a fix?
